A strong advocate for new American opera, she specializes in new music and themed recital programs aimed at featuring new composers and works, as well as connecting these pieces to historical and pop culture references. She has a Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Bachelor of Musical Arts from Penn State University, where she studied opera and Contemporary American Literature.
